Bearing in mind I live in Epping (Far North) going to Noble Park (Far South), I would be able to give a lift to someone that needs one (I think I remember that Allan is around my neck of the woods). On another note, I gave the Westgarth a call this evening to suggest an idea. Because of MMM mentioning it, I remembered that the Melbourne International Comedy Festival is usually taking place around the time of our April show. I suggested to the Westgarth that if they got onto the organiser (Susan Provan) early enough, both Rocky and Blues could get a mention in the festival's promotional material etc. They'll be getting in touch with her over the next few days. Hope everyone had a good xmas and new year. No, quite simple really. Start with Bohemian Rhapsody as the audience are still being escorted to their seats (this way it doesn't take up TOO much of their time) and when it gets to the faster bit, hold up cue cards so the audience can sing along with some of the falsetto bits (you know, like "He's just a poor boy, from a poor family, spare him his life from this monstrosity"). It'd be a bit different, keep the audience guessing, you know? I'm sure most of the people in the audience would know the song, and we could get our Trixie to show cards with the words (as I was referring to earlier as cue cards) and point at them, like the bouncing ball you would see on a karaoke set.
