Hi all, Due to recent circumstances in the recent weeks, i'm finacialy stonkered ie, i've only got five bucks to get me thru till tues and i don't have enough gas to get me over the other side of melb tomorrow night. So i send my aplolgies to everyone. I will be there Sat nite about 10 pm. Jess i will chip in towards the props that you have purchased for the show. Doing two funerals in two days can be rather devistating. Love and hugs. Louise. "And if you don't behave, I shall belt you around the mouth and mouth you around the belt"Riff Raff

Oooooh! Tacos.
I had a friend tell me she knew some people who were 'invited' into the
cast, and they gave their emails and heard nothing since. So I suspect that
the Rocky List has not reached all of the invitationals. So I have
accostered those who have not made a peep since the list was refreshed
personally.
Tacos...

If Blues goes, we're next. And if they get the extra cinemas, I
imagine they'll cite not wanting to put off more normal punters as a reason
to get rid of us.
Also - note how the article says nothing at all about parking
spaces...

In an unusual show of niceness, Mike (the ugly one) said to me that if the
crowds kept coming in at this rate, they'd be happy to have us here for
years to come. About Rocky, I mean.
(yes, I know they're both ugly. Dunno which ones which. :) )

I think Rocky has benefited by not doing it every month compared to Blues
when we returned to the Westgarth. Probably a blessing in disguise. Our
current crowd numbers would be quite profitable to the owners.
Also the impact, interest and number of performers is excellent at the
moment. We need to ensure this is maintained.
Thanks

I'm a Blues member, and can officially tell you it's more than just lack of
cast.. lack of cast = lack of audience.

I would have thought that it would be more due to lack of audience than cast????

Don't get me started on censorship. That particular 'code' is purely
subjective, depending on who is applying it, and therefore useless. I'm sure
there are people who think we violate all three.

I was just going by what I was told from a cast member
from Blues who was at Rocky. I guess that they didn't
want to admit the lack of audience factor. I think
that until we are officially told that Rocky is no
more at Westgarth we shouldn't start a panic. We have
moved aroud before and have always seemed to find a
venue. So if Rocky is told to move from the Westgarth
is does not spell the permenant end. We have always
managed in the past. I think we should not hang on
what might happen and deal with keeping up our
popularity and making the shows better each time.
When are we going to have our social/moral building
event?

I read that for the show when the blues changed from
the Valhalla in Richmond to the Westgarth Valhalla,
they had the first half in Richmond and the second in

How about Derek quite openly adding our regular Rocky shows to the
Multiverse announcement mailout?
If we got even a few people from it it could be a huge difference for us.
