And the whole fun-pantomime-gender-swapping thing seems to go well with the christmas thing. Rocky is supposed to be a fun thing that we as a group of friends and performers get together every second month to do. I feel anxious everytime emails circulate and feel that as mature adults we should be able to work together. The last rocky was amazing we had a full house and we worked really well together, it seems a shame that this has to be damaged by people knocking each other and putting others down. We need to make a decision about the next performance, but we have to remember that everyone is volunteering their time and does this because they want to. We also all had to start somewhere and a lot of us worked our ways to where we are now. I know that there has been disappointment for new people comming in and wanting cast roles, but there has to be a limit the number of people in roles or everyone will rarely get on stage. I am also letting people know that Cath is understudying me as Madj because she has wanted to do that role ever since she started Rocky well before I did and there are enough Janets if she is Madjing. Danni also has talked about returning and she may jump into the role as well. I am hoping that we can resolve any differences and be a happy group. This is about having fun and I know that the high I feel after a performance like last Rocky is so good that I really look forward to the next and don't look forward to the day where I can not be part of this.
